30+ Facts About the Human Body That Made Us Realize We Don’t Know Anything About the Thing We’re Living In

Despite the fact that we’re humans, the actual ins and outs of the human body are a real mystery to most people. To prove our point, here are some wild human body facts that you probably didn’t know.

Blind Spots

The eyes actually have more blind spots than you might think, which is a little alarming. But, at least our eyes and our brains manage to work together to prevent such blind spots from being such a huge deal. Imagine if we actually had to worry about these blind spots in everyday life! That would seriously suck.

Blind Spots

Humans and Monkeys

Upon first glance, it may seem like chimpanzees have a lot more hair than us humans. But, what if we told you that the amount of hair we have is roughly the same, and the big difference is just the length of our hair?

Humans and Monkeys

That’s right — if human hair grew as long as chimp hair does then we would look pretty similar to them because we have roughly the same volume of hair as they do. Just goes to show that there really are more similarities between us than most think.

Extra Bones

Most everyone knows how many bones the human body has, but believe it or not, some humans actually have extra bones in their bodies. Usually, these bones don’t actually do anything, but it’s neat to think about why some humans get more bones while others don’t.

Extra Bones

Even weirder is the fact that less people had the extra knee bone we are talking about here a hundred years ago. What’s causing humans to be born with extra bones? Are we going to start getting even more extra bones somewhere down the line?

Shedding Skin

This one is a little gross to think about, but someone has to think about it, and if we have to know this pain, so do you! Apparently, the human body sheds as many as 30,000 skin cells every minute! Now, that’s gross.

Shedding Skin

Try not to think about that reality too much, else it might get kind of difficult to eat meals from now on. After all, that’s a whole lot of skin cells making it onto your plate! Seriously, we wish we didn’t know this.

Human Stripes

You would probably cock your eyebrow at us if we told you that humans have stripes, but they do! It’s just that you can’t see them under normal circumstances. They’re called Blaschko’s Lines, and apparently, they form along the paths of embryonic cell migration.

Human Stripes

The reason you can’t see them is that the difference in pigmentation is so slight that you often can’t tell the difference on the skin. That’s a shame, though — imagine how interesting it would be if humans had stripes!

The Virus Within

Most people have no idea what kind of stuff our DNA is actually comprised of. We’re willing to bet that few people had any idea that old viruses exist in our DNA somewhere. But you know, it does kind of make sense, doesn’t it?

The Virus Within

Who knows what kind of stuff ended up just living in our ancestors on the regular? Eventually, they were probably just assimilated. But, is that DNA still considered “virus” DNA today? Or is it just normal human DNA now?

Your PH Balance

A lot of businesses try to tell you that the source of your health issues is your PH balance, but the truth is, humans have a particular PH range — and if you were to go above or below it by any significant amount, you would die.

Your PH Balance

So no, products that claim to significantly change your PH are not being truthful. But then again, a lot of fad health items have very little truth to them, and they’re just playing on the ignorance of the masses.

The Caloric Reflex Test

This little tidbit about squirting warm or cold water into your ears to force your eyes to move a certain way might seem bogus, but considering it’s a patented test that’s actually performed in hospitals, it clearly is not.

The Caloric Reflex Test

Why does the Caloric Reflex test work? We have no idea, we’re not physicians. But frankly, we’re not surprised at all that the human body has such a weird little thing about it. What is its purpose? Why does it exist? The world may never know.

Bring it Back

Most people tend to believe that the brain dies when the body dies, or that the brain doesn’t last too long after you have died. But in reality, the brain actually survives for some time after death. Sure — it might not be all there, but at the most basic level, it still tries to revive the fallen body.

Bring it Back

If it ever succeeded, it’s not like you would just come back without permanent damage or anything. You’d probably still be braindead. But at the very least, the brain tries pretty hard to bring you back, and that’s kind of respectable.

Auto Surgery

You probably didn’t know that the human heart has a fifth valve — most likely because that fifth valve apparently seals itself shortly after you are born, a rare occurrence that doesn’t happen too often when it comes to the human body.

Auto Surgery

Comparatively, it would be immensely difficult and expensive to achieve the same thing via surgery. Wouldn’t it be nice if the human body could take care of all of its problems on its own? It sure would save a lot of money in the realm of medical bills.

How You Go

We would forgive anyone for assuming that a lack of oxygen is what directly causes suffocation, because that only makes sense, right? But, it’s actually the inability to exhale carbon dioxide that gives you that sensation of suffocation.

How You Go

We suppose a lack of oxygen is technically still the reason for suffocation, in a manner of speaking. But, a lot of people probably didn’t know the technicalities of how this kind of death really goes down. Doesn’t make it any less terrifying, of course.

Reflex and Reaction

You might think that the reflexes of the human body work in tandem with your brain, but many reflexes never actually make it up there. After all, while the speed of thought is very fast, sometimes you need to respond even faster.

Reflex and Reaction

So, if you touch a hot stove, there’s no time for that stimulus to go all the way to your brain. Instead, it goes to your spine and spurs a reaction. That’s probably good, since it protects us from getting hurt in bad scenarios.

Lacking in Vitamin C

Vitamin C is very important for human health, but we can’t produce it ourselves. What’s weird about this is the fact that apparently many other mammals actually do have the ability to produce Vitamin C, because they have an enzyme that we do not.

Lacking in Vitamin C

That kind of sucks, because we humans would probably be a lot healthier if we had an enzyme such as that. Most of us aren’t very good about staying on top of our Vitamin C, after all. Guess we just have to settle for oranges and tablets.

The Adaptability of Man

The human body is very adaptable. It doesn’t happen right away, but over the course of several generations, the human body can evolve in strange ways depending on the environment. Heck, that’s pretty much how races and ethnicities got here in the first place.

The Adaptability of Man

From different sized organs to the color of one’s skin, the human body will adapt over time to one’s physical environment to better survive it. Who knows how the human body will change in the future? Once we get to space, it could do something drastic.

How Elvis Passed

A bowel movement is a tad bit more serious than just going to the bathroom, but did you know that such an endeavor could result in serious heart failure under the right circumstances? If you already have issues, then the impact of a bowel movement on your heart could cause problems.

How Elvis Passed

That’s probably how Elvis ended up passing away on the toilet. Most people see that as being a pretty sad and pathetic death, but never forget that it could happen to any one of us, so don’t get too high and mighty.

Perfluorocarbon

You could be forgiven for thinking that humans can’t breathe underwater, but it’s not the water itself that’s unbreathable — it’s just that there isn’t enough oxygen in it for us to survive off of. But, if it had enough oxygen, you could feasibly breathe it.

Perfluorocarbon

There actually is such a liquid out there that really exists, called Perfluorocarbon. Humans could feasibly breathe in this liquid, but we aren’t really doing anything with the ability right now. It could be great for space travel, though!

The Lone Bone

Most bones in the human body are attached to other bones in the human body, but there’s actually one bone that’s all by its lonesome, known as the hyoid bone. The only thing it really does is anchor your tongue to a certain position.

The Lone Bone

Why that had to be done with a bone, we don’t actually have any idea. Seems like it could have been managed with muscles and tendons and all, but apparently that’s not the case.

The Size of Your Lungs

This body fact is one that’s actually slightly more well-known because it gets tossed around a bit more, but it’s still a super wild body fact. Did you know that your lungs could cover an entire tennis court if you could flatten them out completely?

The Size of Your Lungs

The human body actually manages to contain a vast amount of length and size within it by folding it up or squishing it down. Your intestines are also more than a dozen feet long when they’re stretched out completely!

Cursed Knowledge

Some body facts are really just things that we all know, but never really think about. For instance, how often does it occur to you that you can only swallow once every few seconds? Or rather, that you have to wait a bit before actually swallowing again?

Cursed Knowledge

Truly, it’s an odd thing that most of us don’t think about very often. We bet a bunch of you are already trying it right now, though. We admit we tried to do it right after reading this fact as well. How many times can you swallow in five seconds?

Power to Weight Ratio

You may be surprised to learn that your brain uses a huge portion of the energy you consume every day, but if you ask us, it kind of makes sense, doesn’t it? It may not weigh a lot, but it sure does put in a lot of work in the human body.

Power to Weight Ratio

Perhaps this is why some animals have an easier time of life. With smaller brains that don’t work as hard, they can probably put more of their calories to other aspects of their body. Maybe that’s not how it works, though.

The Second Brain

Some people like to say that their stomach has a mind of its own. Well, that’s actually true, in some regard. The human stomach is also surrounded by neurons, just like your brain. This is called the enteric nervous system, and it operates autonomously.

The Second Brain

The good news is that your real brain ignores the painful process of digestion that’s handled by your enteric nervous system. Either way, it’s weird to think that we do kind of have another brain in our bodies.

Separate but Equal

Did you know that your eyes actually have an immune system that’s separate from the one that governs the rest of your body? If the two were to come into contact with one another, your body’s main immune system would attack your ocular immune system as a foreign body.

Separate but Equal

This kind of situation can actually lead to blindness and other visual impairments. We have to wonder why the two immune systems are separate at all, honestly.

Don’t We All?

Most everyone seems to hate the sound of their own voice, but have you ever wondered why that is? It’s because our voices don’t sound the same over recording as it does when we speak. Without the reverberation throughout our skulls, our voices sound much higher pitched.

Don’t We All?

But even though you hate your voice, don’t worry too much — nobody else hates it. To them, your voice has always sounded like that anyway! At least that’s some small comfort, right?

Perfect for What Now?

Here’s another weird fact about what large things can be made with the human body. Or rather, just how large the human body would be if it wasn’t all squished into the small frame we are used to.

Perfect for What Now?

Apparently, your average adult has 22-square-feet of skin. Do you ever wonder how many of these extremely weird facts only came to light because some scientist was messing around with a body? It’s probably most of them, honestly.

Self-Imposed Limitations

15 pounds of force is all it would take to rip off a human ear, and if you could use your body at full power, you would actually be able to break your own bones quite easily. Thankfully, our brain imposes limitations on our bodies to stop that from happening.

Self-Imposed Limitations

However, if the adrenaline is high enough, that limiter can be overcome sometimes. When you hear stories about people lifting cars and other crazy things like that, that’s exactly what’s happening.

The Source of Dopamine

Dopamine is the chemical that makes us feel pleasure and satisfaction, and all humans like to get things. But, did you know this can actually be explained by biology? Our brains actually do prefer when e get something nice for a low cost.

The Source of Dopamine

Free food really does taste better, getting something you wanted for free is always preferable to having to pay for it, and we really do enjoy a trade more if we came out of it making more than we traded away. Weird, isn’t it?

Growing Into It

Contrary to what you may believe, a baby doesn’t just come out of the womb with all of their bones ready to go. In fact, babies have to grow into the final skeletal structure that they will have as adults.

Growing Into It

They don’t have kneecaps for several years after birth. In fact, if you looked at the skeleton of an infant, it would probably look very, very different from what you would expect. Don’t even get us started on their teeth.

Glow in the Dark

We all know about bioluminescent fish that live in the deep ocean, but did you know that human bodies are actually bioluminescent to some extent as well. The reason you don’t see yourself glowing in the dark is because our eyes are incapable of perceiving it.

Glow in the Dark

It makes you wonder — just how alien would humans look in comparison to aliens if they saw us for the first time? We’re actually quite a weird species when you think about it.

By Design

Have you ever felt that your collarbone was unnecessarily fragile? Well, maybe that’s because it was designed to be fragile. The birthing process is hard — a big-headed baby has to go through a pretty small hole. The collarbone is designed to break in certain places to make that process easier.

By Design

Unfortunately, this fragility carries into adulthood when it’s no longer needed, but it’s interesting to know that there was a biological design in mind for the whole thing. The human body really is amazing!

Refeeding Syndrome

If you were starving, it would be awfully tempting to eat as much as possible if you had the opportunity to do so. But, this can actually kill you. If you have to come back from the brink of starvation, you have to do it gradually, for the reason revealed in this fact.

Refeeding Syndrome

We hope you never end up in a situation where this information is relevant to you, but keep it in mind anyway. You never know what might happen out there, and it would really suck to die to refeeding syndrome after surviving something terrible!

Fog of the Mind

Few people imagine Alzheimer’s Disease as something physical, like cancer or an open wound. But truth is, you actually can see it sometimes, assuming you were looking at the brain of someone who had the disease.

Fog of the Mind

Alzheimer’s is already terrible enough to think about — frankly, we don’t like the idea of it being even worse than we thought. We suppose the physical nature of it doesn’t change the end result, but it’s troubling nevertheless.

Regeneration Abilities

The weirdest body facts out there are the ones that people have no idea how to explain. Apparently, children under the age of 11 are capable of regenerating fingers and toes under the right conditions. But, adults aren’t able to do it for some reason.

Regeneration Abilities

Rarely is there a facet of the human body that we don’t understand, but as of right now, scientists are not actually able to tell us why this happens. Maybe if we could crack this mystery, medical science could take a huge step forward?

Greater Omentum

Some parts of the human body aren’t well-known simply because they’re rarely referred to. The greater omentum, for example, is something that all humans have but we rarely ever see it in medical diagrams.

Greater Omentum

That’s because this flab of tissue is often made transparent on diagrams so the intestines can be seen. It makes you wonder, though — how many other human body parts is your average person unaware of simply because said part is almost never mentioned in books or diagrams?

The 5%

Sometimes, it takes a while before science can determine what a part of the body does. Apparently, there was some small part of the ear that as a mystery for the longest time, but there are some theories about what it does now.

The 5%

Unfortunately, the theory that it can cause hyperacusis really sucks. It’s not pleasant and it’s guaranteed to make life awful for anyone that has it. Thankfully, it seems like this 5% of the ear business doesn’t affect most people.

Is That So?

It’s worth noting that many of these body facts came from Reddit, a place where not everyone is reputable. But so far, many of them appear to be true. This one just strikes us as a little strange, though.

Is That So?

Perhaps this “touching the belly button makes you feel like you have to pee” thing isn’t universal. But, the fact itself sounds reasonable, and it definitely doesn’t strike us as complete hogwash. Maybe we should ask a doctor about it the next time we are due for a checkup?

Hold Your Breath

Humans aren’t aquatic, which is why it seems sensible that most of us cannot hold our breath underwater for more than a few minutes at a time. But, humans can actually hold their breath for much longer than that under the right circumstances.

Hold Your Breath

Of course, those circumstances generally include lots of training, good technique, and you not actually doing anything physically taxing while underwater. Still, imagine a human being holding their breath for 25 minutes!

Make Use of it All

Of all the different stages of life for a human being, people probably know the least about babies. We suppose it makes sense — there’s not a lot of experimentation going on for kids, since we don’t want to hurt them or make them uncomfortable.

Make Use of it All

But, we bet there are even mothers out there that didn’t know about how efficiently babies make use of their milk. This is important information, though, since it could affect how you take care of your kids!

Fusion of the Macabre Variety

When we think of bones fusing together, we’re usually imagining some Lovecraftian horror. But, human babies go through this all the time. Not only do they lack some things like kneecaps when they’re born, but they even start with more bones than adults.

Fusion of the Macabre Variety

Having almost 100 extra bones is pretty crazy, but it’s even crazier to think that most of those extra bones will end up fusing into the skeletal structure that we’re actually familiar with.

Sound and Vision

Have you ever noticed how much faster you can react to a starling sound than you do to a startling sight? The difference is actually quite significant, as far as reaction time goes. Humans process sound much faster and more efficiently than we do visual stimuli.

Sound and Vision

This drummer example mentioned here is actually perfect, as it ideally exemplifies how we can process sound faster than sight in most cases. That said, we’re sure there are many other ways you could prove this.

Switching Sides

Have you ever felt like one nostril was doing more work than the other? Turns out that’s not just a feeling, but an actual thing! One side of your nose will be the “dominant” side during different times of the day, meaning they’re getting more airflow.

Switching Sides

Why they don’t just split the work evenly between the two of them, we have no idea. It certainly seems like that would be a much easier way to do things, but who are we to judge the way the body works?

45 Instances That Companies Had Such a Witty Comeback, the Internet Just Had to Share It

It’s no secret that businesses are always in a state of rivalry — battling for market share and competing for limited resources, clients, and ideas. Some companies extend that rivalry to social media, and we love to see it. We’ve put together a list of the wittiest comebacks companies have made.

Python Has No Chill

We always knew that Python and Java were rivals. However, what happens when they get involved in an epic Twitter war? Python’s epic comeback was so brutal, that we wonder if Java has recovered from it or not!

Python Has No Chill

GameStop Being Savage

GameStop is the world’s largest video game retailer and trade-in destination, but it seems that the company provides another service — totally shutting down haters in an epic way.

GameStop Being Savage

What happened was that someone started complaining about how their Nintendo Wii console is basically useless, and that they would want to trade it for only $0.01. However, in turn of events, GameStop declared that they could sell the Wii for cheaper than this guy!

PETA vs. Old Bay Seasoning

Apparently, animal rights organization PETA and Old Bay Seasoning have been having a billboard battle in Maryland. We all know that the PETA organization is against any type of animal cruelty. In the first billboard, we can see that they are encouraging people to go vegan and not eat meat.

PETA vs. Old Bay Seasoning

However, Old Bay Seasoning thought it was the perfect time to make a witty statement. So, they trolled PETA with another billboard. Not only did their billboard make fun of PETA’s, but they also got to endorse their product.

Facebook Getting Trolled

Facebook recently changed its company name to “Meta,” resulting in a variety of hilarious memes and examples of trolling from different social media handles. Many companies, however, also took this opportunity to come up with their own comebacks — some of them so hilarious that it’s difficult to ignore them.

Facebook Getting Trolled

For example, this migraine app boldly declared that Facebook got its inspiration from its app logo. Honestly, we do kind of see the similarity there. We wonder what Facebook has to say about this!

Mess With the Bull…

We have all seen posts about how Wendy’s social media pages are filled with witty replies or hilarious trolling directed at certain individuals. Most of the time, their targets are other fast-food competitors such as KFC, Burger King, and Chick-fil-A.

Mess With the Bull…

However, sometimes, their haters get trolled too. Just like in this case! Wendy’s tried to make a joke, but someone pointed out how unfunny they are nowadays. So, Wendy’s clapped back with a savage response!

Chipotle Going All Out

We know we’re talking about company comebacks, but what about a broken-hearted ex’s comebacks? Whoever is handling Chipotle’s social media handle must have had a horrible breakup recently.

Chipotle Going All Out

Otherwise, why would this person think of going to that extent just to watch their ex’s story? Apparently, this person watched their ex’s story from Chipotle’s official social media account. This is hilarious on so many levels. However, when we think about it, it’s also kind of sad.

Back 4 Blood vs. KFC Gaming

Did you know fast-food chain KFC has its own gaming console? We didn’t know either. Apparently, KFC Gaming thought that the video game Back 4 Blood was simply a copy of another game called Left 4 Dead.

Back 4 Blood vs. KFC Gaming

This forced Back 4 Blood to come up with their own comeback too. It turns out that both games were actually created by Turtle Rock Studios. The gaming studio decided to hit KFC right where it will hurt most. We are just hoping that KFC is alright after this burn.

UNO Wasn’t Ready

We have all heard of UNO. In fact, most of us played this family card game quite often. Although the card game, Exploding Kittens, isn’t quite as popular as UNO, it’s becoming a top competitor in the card game market.

UNO Wasn’t Ready

So, when these two rivals throw shade at each other, it’s actually quite fun to lay back and enjoy their banter. In this post, UNO probably wanted to take a dig at Exploding Kittens. Unfortunately, they ended up getting brutally trolled instead.

An Absolute Classic

Most social media users love Twitter, Instagram, and Reddit. However, the fact that these media companies love one another is also pretty interesting. What started off as an ordinary greeting from Twitter’s official account resulted in this comment by Reddit.

An Absolute Classic

Reddit responded to Instagram’s post by asking if the one managing the Instagram handle was okay or not. Hilarious, right? It’s easy to forget that behind these large companies are teams of employees who must manage the company’s social media accounts. It’s nice to see them get a bit of personal attention!

Originality at Its Finest

Many people wonder how can a massive company like Facebook was able to change its logo and name so easily. It seems almost impossible! So, when a streaming platform called Movies Anywhere expressed their concern over how similar their logo was to Facebook’s new logo, we were honestly not surprised.

Originality at Its Finest

While we understand that both logos resemble the mathematical symbol which represents infinity, the two logos look suspiciously similar. That said, it doesn’t seem fair for these companies to bully Facebook over this! Don’t you agree?

Burger King Has No Chill

Well, we all know that McDonald’s is famous for its burgers and fries. However, they’re also famous for another thing. They are renowned for their clown character and restaurant mascot — Ronald McDonald.

Burger King Got No Chill

We kind of love how Burger King subtly shaded McDonald’s indirectly by bringing up the famous clown in their advertisement. It’s quite funny to see how Burger King’s recruitment poster says that applicants should work for them rather than for clowns. We all know who they’re referring to…

Shots Fired

In a tweet, Universal Orlando Resort decided to poke fun at the closure of the NBA Experience at Disney Springs. The tweet inspired this retaliation from an account with a username based on a character from the ride Journey Into Imagination at Disney World’s Epcot theme park.

Shots Fired

The tweet alluded to the fact that Universal Orlando Resort once had its very own NBA-themed attraction called NBA City, which closed in 2015. Because Journey Into Imagination was updated after 1998, and the Dreamfinder character was removed, Universal Orlando Resort had the ultimate say.

Take a Hint, Chick-fil-A

While many people are disappointed that Chick-fil-A restaurants are closed on Sundays, McDonald’s seems to use this to their advantage. This McDonald’s restaurant sign pokes fun at the restaurant’s unique working hours.

Take a Hint, Chick-fil-A

Here, they are making fun of Chick-fil-A for being closed on Sunday by reminding customers that they are open. However, we agree with another commenter when they said that Chick-fil-A probably isn’t too worried. Despite a limited amount of working hours, Chick-fil-A continues to be one of the largest fast-food chains in the U.S.

Twitter vs. Reddit

Sometimes, it doesn’t take a lot of words to roast someone. Here, we can see that Twitter just announced that they’re introducing a voting system to understand which replies people find relevant in a conversation.

Twitter vs. Reddit

However, this announcement probably hit too close to home for Reddit. After all, the “Upvote” feature is a classic feature on Reddit. That said, Reddit didn’t come up with the idea of the Upvote. Online news aggregator, Digg, was doing it before them as well as others.

Got to Love Sports Rivalries

As long as there are sports teams, there will be rivalries too. In this post, for instance, we can see that these two ice hockey teams are trolling each other with a series of snarky tweets.

Got to Love Sports Rivalries

The Montreal Canadiens bragged that they would still have more Stanley Cups than their rival, even if they lost that game. The Tampa Bay Lightning players were having none of it. They clapped back with something better — they took a dig at the Canadiens by implying how their last Stanley Cup was in the 90s.

Minecraft vs. Roblox

Markus Persson, or Notch as he calls himself, is one of the biggest video game designers and programmers. He’s famous for creating popular video game Minecraft — and apparently — for insulting gaming platforms like Roblox.

Minecraft vs. Roblox

For instance, in this post, we can see that Notch tried to troll Roblox about the quality of their games. Feeling attacked, Roblox had to respond. In the end, it was pretty hilarious to see how Notch accepted their defeat because of so many autocorrect fails!

Seattle Kraken Get a New Name

Those familiar with ice hockey are familiar with these two names: The New Jersey Devils and the Seattle Kraken. The New Jersey Devils is an ice hockey team based in Newark, New Jersey while the Seattle Kraken is one of Washington state’s newest ice hockey teams.

Seattle Kraken Get a New Name

While the New Jersey Devils is quite an old name in the National Hockey League, the Seattle Kraken is relatively new. Naturally, the New Jersey Devils didn’t waste an opportunity to tease the new team when they got their sea monster-inspired name.

Sure, Jan

The epic battle between Twitter and Reddit continued when Reddit replied to Twitter’s post with a simple “Sure, Jan.” Anybody familiar with The Brady Bunch would know why this comment was so snarky.

Sure, Jan

This quote comes from A Very Brady Movie, in which Jan lies to her sister about having a boyfriend. Knowing that her sister is lying, Marcia dismissively says, “Sure, Jan.” In recent years, the quote has been used as a sarcastic way to say that someone is obviously lying.

KDE Wins

When it comes to computer software companies, we are all quite familiar with Microsoft. Some of us are also familiar with KDE. KDE is a software community that develops free and open-source software all over the world.

KDE Wins

In this epic battle of Twitter snark, Microsoft boasted about their latest development and product release. KDE, however, decided to share their apparent disappointment with Microsoft’s underwhelming release. We’re here for that sass!

A Convo Between Friends

This next post is equally wholesome and funny. It seems that there aren’t any hard feelings between these two large corporations north of the border.

A Convo Between Friends

Here, in the post, we can see that McDonald’s is announcing that they will introduce something big. So, Walmart questioned how big that something is. McDonald’s wittily replied that it would be as big as Walmart’s Supercenter. Walmart agreed that it would indeed be big!

Netflix India and Disney+Hotstar India

Netflix India and Disney+Hotstar India are very popular streaming services in India. So, it’s pretty evident that they are each other’s competitors too. Here, we get to see them taking a dig at each other. First, we start with Netflix India.

Netflix India and Disney+Hotstar India

In the post, Netflix India said that they were dropping some light-hearted shows for low-key Wednesdays. In their response, Disney+Hotstar saw the perfect opportunity to brag about how Wednesdays already sorted thanks to Loki — one of their shows.

Chick-fil-A Has a Comeback This Time

It seems that McDonald’s has made it a point to tease Chick-fil-A for closing their restaurants on Sunday. This picture shows McDonald’s poking fun at Chick-fil-A with a board that says, “We sell crispy chicken sandwiches on Sundays.”

Chick-fil-A Has a Comeback This Time

This time, however, Chick-fil-A had an equally snarky comeback! Funnily enough, they pointed out McDonald’s biggest flaw — the fact that their ice-cream machine never seems to be working, unlike Chick-fil-A’s machines.

Don’t Mess With Wendy’s

We already know that Wendy’s is great at making puns! Well, they’re back at it again with this clever tweet. In this post, we see that Wendy’s attempted to make a joke at their own expense.

Don’t Mess With Wendy’s

Somebody, however, was not entirely amused with the joke. They replied that they didn’t ask for that anecdote. Instead of getting demotivated, Wendy’s came up with the perfect witty comeback in this case. Wendy’s responded to the troller with this epic tweet.

Eureka Throwing Shade at Dyson

In this episode of “Battles between Vacuums,” we can clearly say that this Eureka model won. We think most people would agree after reading the label plastered on this vacuum cleaner!

Eureka Throwing Shade at Dyson

On the label, Eureka declared that their vacuums clean carpets better than vacuums by the Dyson brand. Not only that, but they also declared that they do a better job at a third of the price when compared to a Dyson vacuum cleaner! That’s some good advertisement. Don’t you think?

“We Are a Restaurant”

Did you think we were done with Wendy’s? Well, no. Wendy’s doesn’t just make great hamburgers, they also serve up some of the wittiest comebacks in social media. It seems that they are rarely running out of snarky comments.

“We Are a Restaurant”

For instance, we love how they gave a hilarious reply to this random person on Twitter. What happened was that this person asked Wendy’s to be their girlfriend. Well, we can clearly from the post what Wendy’s had to say about that. We think the reply was just perfect for that strange question.

SafeMoon’s Wittiest Reply So Far

It’s entertaining to see how sarcastic cryptocurrency company, SafeMoon, has been in their response to fellow cryptocurrency company, Binance Exchange. In this post, we can see that Binance was asking their followers to guess the position of Bitcoin.

SafeMoon’s Wittiest Reply So Far

However, SafeMoon saw the perfect opportunity to make a sarcastic comment in the comment section. They stated that Bitcoin was at number two. By leaving that comment, we are guessing SafeMoon is implying that they are number one. Well played, SafeMoon!

Sign Battles

In Christiansburg, Virginia there seems to be a sign fight on North Franklin Street, between a music store and a shoe store. The fight started with Bridge Kaldro Music asking Super Shoes if they wanted to start a sign war.

Sign Battles

Super Shoes replied that their shoe strings were stronger than Kaldro’s guitar strings. Thankfully doesn’t seem to be any real hostility between the retailers. The business owners have been each other’s neighbors for 15 years, and they are probably going to keep having fun with their signs.

Hamburger Vines

There are times when you read a social media post that is just so ridiculous that you just have to laugh. Wendy’s went a step further and called out this poster over his hilarious “suggestion” to the fast-food chain.

Hamburger Vines

We hope that this poster is aware that hamburgers don’t simply grow on vines, and that a circle- shaped patty of meat is just as “artificial” as a square-shaped one. We love this super sarcastic response to what is truly a laughable request!

The Burn, Though

This next one is just the most epic burn we have ever seen. In this post, Apple Music asks its followers what they have been listening to recently. Naturally, there were many replies. However, we absolutely didn’t expect Samsung to comment there.

The Burn, Though

On top of that, what Samsung left as a comment was just too epic to be forgotten or ignored. Samsung commented on Apple Music’s post saying that they are listening to “Spotify.” Boom, roasted!

State Wars

This next post is more of state wars than company wars. Instead of companies, the official social media pages of two states trolled each other. In the post, we can see that Delaware jokingly announced that New Jersey and Delaware would be merged into one state named “New Delaware.”

State Wars

We are guessing New Jersey wasn’t too impressed with that idea, so they came up with an epic reply – they shared the post with a simple “Delete your account.” A bit rude, but still a good comeback!

Humor at its Best

In this next post, we can see how even the Northeastern Ohio Regional Sewer District had something to say about the giant container ship that was blocking the Suez Canal. In response to the news about the blocked waterway, someone shared a meme of a ship in their toilet!

Humor at its Best

However, the North East Ohio Regional Sewer District left a really funny comment in that post. Good to see that some people were able to find humor in the situation.

PlayStation vs. Bandai Namco

This next post is pretty hilarious. We are all familiar with the PlayStation gaming console. However, not many of us know Bandai Namco. Apparently, it’s a video game company too. Previously they were known as Namco Bandai but later changed their name to Bandai Namco.

PlayStation vs. Bandai Namco

PlayStation U.K. decided to troll Bandai Namco over the name change by switching the first letters of their new name. Bandai Namco wasn’t very thrilled about it, though!

DuckDuckGo-ing for Google

DuckDuckGo really went for Google in this post. In their post, they wrote about how Google finally revealed just how much personal data they store from Chrome and the Google app users.

DuckDuckGo-ing for Google

They also said that spying on users has nothing to do with building a great web browser or search engine. However, they came up with the best line when they said they would know more about it as their app is both a great web browser and a great search engine. Clever promotion!

City Battle

Let’s move from company battles for now and talk about city battles. In this post, two cities in Washington state decided to engage in an epic Twitter battle. The city of Kent first started the battle when they shared a meme alluding to the city of Tacoma’s apparent bad smell.

City Battle

Many were not impressed by it, so the City of Kent came up with another post explaining the meme. Unimpressed with this “non-apology”, the City of Tacoma gave this cold reply.

Between No Name and Kraft

Canada’s largest food retailer sells a line of generic brand products called No Name. No Name decided to jokingly share this caption above a picture of one of their honey products, assuring customers that the honey wasn’t made by bears, despite the bear-shaped bottle.

Between No Name and Kraft

In response, Kraft Foods posted that they were relieved and approved of the message. No Name decided to troll Kraft Foods (which also features bears on the packaging of their product) by asking if bears were involved in the production of their peanut butter.

Wholesome

Avanti West Coast is a train operating company in the United Kingdom. This post is about an unofficial event in the U.K. known as the “World Cup of Train Operators” where various British rail companies compete against one another.

Wholesome

Avanti West Coast decided to use the funny description of their logo in order to encourage voters to choose them. We think it’s wholesome and clever at the same time. We also think that “orangeyred” should be considered a real color.

Weetabix & Heinz vs. the World

So, here is what happened: Weetabix, a breakfast cereal company, collaborated with Heinz to develop this new idea of “beans on Weetabix.” Well, Domino’s Pizza U.K. was not quite impressed with that idea.

Weetabix & Heinz vs. the World

They decided to throw shade at Weetabix by stating how this combination was worse than pineapple on pizza. Weetabix replied to that by saying how they are too scared to ask the verdict on pineapple on Weetabix. So, Dominos came up with just the perfect comeback by saying that it would be better than beans, at least.

Order From McDonald’s

The social media pages of companies can sometimes share some touching messages. Burger King decided to release a post asking diners to support their local eateries. While the message was very thoughtful and kind, they did add a bit of snark by saying “we never thought we’d be saying this either.”

Order From McDonald’s

This clever post shows that there isn’t that much animosity between these dining establishments. The message reflects very well on Burger King, and may inspire diners to choose the restaurant next time they get a craving for fast food.

Samsung Being Savage

We all know that Samsung and Apple are each other’s competitors. So, naturally, they clash here and there. This photo, however, is just epic in every single way. Samsung’s post was directed at for not including a power adapter with their pricey iPhone 12.

Samsung Being Savage

We actually love how simple the photo is. It consists of a power adapter only! We also love how the caption mentions the “charger” first. We bet the people working for Apple took some notes after seeing this simple, yet powerful, post.

IGN Knows How to Play the Game

IGN is a video game and entertainment media website. The site is popular for its in-depth video game reviews and coverage of the latest news in the video game industry. So, when it came to them reviewing EA Sport’s FIFA video, IGN didn’t hold back.

IGN Knows How to Play the Game

Instead, they decided to troll the video game. They said that because EA Sports hadn’t really changed FIFA on Switch for past two years, they would also recycle the same material when it came to their review of the video game. Pretty fair, right?

Burger King’s Jab at McDonald’s

We are back again with another battle between Burger King and McDonald’s. Their epic trolling battle seems to be never-ending, doesn’t it? This time, Burger King took a jab at McDonald’s.

Burger King’s Jab at McDonald’s

This time, they decided to drag tennis champion Rafael Nadal into their social media war. When he played against someone with a similar name to McDonald’s, Burger King commented by posting a snapshot of it on Twitter and saying that he might be hungry after that. It’s pretty clear who they were trolling.

War of Pies

The following Twitter feud was between two popular restaurant chains: O’Charley’s and Waffle House. The battle began when O’Charley’s pointed out that they serve both waffles and pie, and that Waffle House doesn’t have pie on their menus.

War of Pies

Wanting to defend their good name, Waffle House took to Twitter to assure customers that they do indeed have pie. Well, we know who had the last laugh, don’t we? We are pretty sure Waffle House has won this Twitter battle.

Where is Skyrim?

Bethesda is a video game publisher, while Twitch and Intel Gaming are video game streaming services. In this post, we can see Bethesda getting trolled by the social media pages of Twitch and Intel Gaming.

Where is Skyrim?

Apparently, Bethesda asked their Twitter followers if there was anything new. Twitch and Intel Gaming decided to casually throw some shade at Bethesda saying that they were just waiting for them to release the highly-anticipated video game, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Apparently Bethesda was taking too long to release the game!

Your Move, Chick-fil-A

Well, here we go again. After so many companies decided to take a jab at Chick-fil-A for keeping their restaurant closed on Sundays, fast-food chain Nando’s got in on the fun by making some jokes about the restaurant as well.

Your Move, Chick-fil-A

The restaurant chain erected signs stating that not only were they open-minded, but that they are open on Sundays as well! It’s pretty clear who they are taking a jab at.

A Good Comeback

Did you think that Kraft would be able to mercilessly troll Facebook, and that Facebook would just let it happen? Facebook, of course, had to come up with some comments too. This time, the comment came from the newly named Meta, though!

A Good Comeback

When teased about their new name and logo, Facebook gave the wittiest reply possible. We love the wordplay and pasta pun directed at Kraft. This was what we expected from Facebook, just enough wit to get us through our day.
