World’s Richest Man, Elon Musk, Doesn’t Like All the Attention He Gets

Many people dream of being wealthy but apparently, being the world’s richest man is not Elon Musk’s cup of tea. The founder and CEO of SpaceX took to Twitter following claims he was involved in a high-profile affair (which he denies) and expressed how he’s feeling the heat at the moment.

Being the World’s Richest Man Isn’t for Everyone

The 51-year-old stated that he would do his best to be “heads down focused on doing useful things for civilization.” Everyone knows Musk for having no filter and seemingly tweeting whatever thoughts cross his mind, and this doesn’t help with the heat from the media that he’s currently complaining about.

His tweet can be interpreted as him taking a break from social media and it’s likely Elon Musk’s followers won’t be seeing many updates from him these days. This particular tweet comes off the back of SpaceX and Tesla being at the center of a news article that claimed Musk had an affair with a Google co-founder’s wife.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, was engaged in a brief affair with Sergey Brin’s wife, Nicole Shanahan. It was also reported that this interaction caused Brin to file for divorce earlier this year and end his long-time friendship with Musk.

Apparently, the pair have been friends for many years now and have both steadily increased their wealth and slowly become two of the richest people on Earth. Sergey Brin even loaned Tesla $500,000 in 2008 during the global financial crisis. This was seen as a friendly gesture, but obviously, things have changed as Brin ordered his financial investors to sell his investments in Tesla shortly after he filed for divorce from Shanahan, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ earlier this year.

On the other hand, Elon Musk strongly refused the affair claims, stating that he and Sergey are “still friends and were at a party together last night!”
