Jason Sudeikis to Pay $27,500 a Month In Child Support to Olivia Wilde

Olivia Wilde and her ex-husband Jason Sudeikis have been entangled in an 18-month custody battle for their two children, nine-year-old Otis and seven-year-old Daisy. According to the latest reports they have finally reached an agreement on their custody arrangements. Reportedly, court documents say that starting next month, Olivia and Jason will share joint custody of their children on a week-on, week-off basis, with Sudeikis paying more than $27,000 a month in child support.

While the kids will spend equal time with each parent to provide some stability in their lives, child support payments were derived after the court considered Jason’s higher income. He has been ordered to pay $27,500 per month in child support, with $10,300 allocated for Otis and $17,200 for Daisy. Additionally, Jason is responsible for covering 25% of Olivia’s childcare expenses. These decisions were based on Jason’s estimated income of $10.5 million for 2023, compared to Olivia’s income of $500,000.

The Former Couple Settled

The custody battle began in April 2022 during CinemaCon when Olivia Wilde was handed custody papers onstage. This move by Sudeikis was seen as aggressive by Wilde, who believed he should have served her privately.

In her legal documents, Olivia expressed her displeasure with Jason’s actions, stating that they appeared intended to threaten and catch her off guard. She felt that there were less confrontational ways to handle the situation, but Jason had chosen a more aggressive approach.
