Ryan Gosling Has Shared Which Marvel Role He Would Like to Get

Ryan Gosling revealed that the Nova rumors were just that – rumors that weren’t true. But, he also stated that there was one superhero he would like to play, namely the Ghost Rider. This answered the questions of many fans, but if Kevin Feige is willing to realize Gosling’s burning wish remains to be seen. The role of the comic book character was previously given to actor Nicolas Cage who did two movies placed outside of the MCU. Both projects were universally disliked by critics. Gabriel Luna also donned the flaming skull but for the series Agents of SHIELD.

Ryan Gosling Would Not Be the First Actor to Portray the Ghost Rider

Luna’s efforts were noticed by the fans, and he was even set to receive a TV series focused around the Ghost Rider but the powers that be decided to pull the plug in 2019. When asked to comment, Luna stated that it was simply disappointing in the end. Apparently, he tried to have some perspective on the way things turned out but didn’t have the time to look back. The actor ultimately decided to just keep going forward.

Ryan Gosling currently has a Wolfman remake in the works. But, when that is done, he would be well-suited to take on the role of the Ghost Rider. That is because Marvel’s demonic character is known for riding on supernatural wheels, and Gosling has a lot of experience with motorbikes thanks to playing his part as Luke in The Place Beyond the Pines. In that movie, Luke is a stunt rider who goes on to become a robber.
